GA: Atlanta Mayoral Hopeful Norwood Strongly Supports Gay Marriage

There is no such thing as a low-key Mary Norwood.  The mayoral hopeful’s public persona is one of an unending reservoir of energy that flows easily from her as she gravitates through crowds, enthusiastically shaking hands while telling people she is Mary Norwood and she is running for mayor of Atlanta. Norwood finished first in the Nov. 3 election and faces former state Sen. Kasim Reed in the Dec. 1 runoff to determine who will be Atlanta’s next mayor. If elected, Norwood promises to be a fierce advocate for the LGBT community on the state and national level while working to make the city safer, fairer and fiscally responsible.
