Referendum 71 Petition Signers Will Remain Anonymous, Judge Says

A federal judge is shielding the identities of people who signed petitions to force a statewide vote on expanded benefits for gay couples. A U.S. District Court judge granted a preliminary injunction Thursday afternoon, blocking the state from releasing the petitions to the public. R-71 asks voters to approve or reject the "Everything But Marriage" domestic partnership law. Full Story from KGMI
