Australian Human Rights Comminssion to Hand Down Report on Gay Marriage in September

After almost nine months, the National Human Rights Consultation (NHRC) will hand down its report at the end of September. It is an opportune time to reflect on the process and consider what implications this report may have for the LGBTI community. The National Human Rights Consultation committee visited 53 different locations across Australia in 70 roundtable sessions hearing directly from over 4,300 people. A total of 34,000 submissions were received by the consultation committee. Full Story from SX News
