American Idol's Danny Noriega Joins the NoH8 Campaign

Danny Noriega is the latest American Idol contestant to speak out against Proposition 8, and he did it by participating in the NO H8 photography campaign. The NO H8 campaign features people posing in photographs with the words NO H8 painted on their faces. Many celebrities including Michael Emerson (LOST), Isaiah Washington (Grey’s Anatomy), Kathy Griffin (My Life on the D-List), Andy Dick (comedian), Steve-O (Jackass & Dancing With the Stars), Fran Drescher (The Nanny), Meghan McCain (John McCain’s daughter), Pete Wentz (Fallout Boy), Ashley Simpson-Wentz (Singer), Mark Hoppus (Blink 182), Bryan Singer (Filmmaker), and many more have all come out to participate in this protest against Proposition 8. Everyone already knew that Danny Noriega was gay, so him participating in the NO H8 campaign is not a surprise; however the interesting thing is that he is the second American Idol contestant to speak out for marriage equality in the last few days.
