Gay Marriage Watch: June 28th-July 4th
Here's our Sunday weekly recap of the latest news on gay marriage from around the world. Our favorite thing of the week? A column entitled 5 easy steps to marriage freedom, by Kel Munger. Check it out. :)
Woody Award:
Our woody award this week goes to Scott Lively and Kevin Abrams, authors of The Pink Swastika, whose central thesis is that homosexuality was the driving force behind the rise of the Third Reich. Thanks to Warren Throckmorton at The Christian Post for bringing this to our attention, and for his thoughtful debunking of this thesis at the link above.
I have just one thing to add. Thousands of gays were tortured and killed at the Nazi death camps. amd to turn around and pin the blame on these pour souls for the facism that killed them is just plain ignorant and mean.
Enhoy your woodies, Misters Lively and Abrams.
