Stand for Marriage in Maine Launches Website to Fight Overturn of Gay Marriage Law

Stand for Marriage Maine, a broad-based coalition formed to pass a Peoples' Veto to overturn the recent gay marriage law, announced the launch of their Web site today. The Web site serves as the campaign's online headquarters for supporters of traditional marriage to receive petitions, send in their donations, get the latest information about the campaign, and learn how to volunteer for the People's Veto effort. "The response of Mainers wanting to help qualify the Peoples' Veto is overwhelming, and this new Web site gives our supporters another opportunity to get involved with this very important issue," said Marc Mutty of Stand for Marriage Maine.
