Openly Gay NH Bishop Voices Support for Maine Gay Marriage Law

Bishop Gene Robinson, the openly gay leader of New Hampshire's Episcopal Church, was in Maine on Thursday to voice his support for same-sex marriage and to urge Maine voters to vote No on Question 1, which would repeal the new law legalizing gay marriage in the state. The Episcopal Church does not recognize gay marriage, but Bishop Robinson hopes that will change some day.
