Nevada Resort Association Endorses Domestic Partner Bill

The odds are starting to stack against Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons and his vow to veto a bill granting domestic partners the same rights and benefits as married couples. SB283 received the backing of the Nevada Resort Association Friday, a group that represents the largest resort chains in the state. Bill Bible, head of the association, said would help to ensure the resort industry's thousands of employees have "the fundamental right to the same benefits enjoyed by other Nevadans." The bill would grant rights to gay and straight couples, although in his argument against SB283 Gibbons has repeatedly taken an anti-gay marriage stance. Full Story from Fox 5 News - Click Here
