Glee Star Jane Lynch to Marry Partner in May

At the 2010 Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 17, "Glee" star Jane Lynch told the New York Times Carpetbagger blog that she plans to marry her girlfriend Dr. Lara Embry in May.

The couple met at a National Center for Lesbian Rights event in May 2009. Embry was receiving the organization's Justice Award, while Lynch was there to introduce "The L Word" creator Ilene Chaiken, who received the NCLR's Voice and Visibility Award.

Lynch has been vaulted into the TV spotlight this season as Sue Sylvester on "Glee," garnering award nominations for her performance and wins for Best Ensemble.
