One Bright Spot: Kalamazoo Approves Gay Rights Ordinance

Michigan voters made their voices heard throughout the state Tuesday evening. In Kalamazoo, a highly publicized ordinance that extends anti-discrimination protections to gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender individuals passed easily, making it the 16th city in Michigan to adopt such a ordinance.
