No Rush for New Hampshire Gay Marriage Licenses - Yet

Applications for gay marriage licenses became available Monday, but officials in Southern New Hampshire towns said there hasn't been a rush of people applying. A law giving gay and heterosexual couples the same rights under state law is set to take effect Jan. 1. The licenses are good for 90 days, so couples could apply for a license now for a marriage in January. So far, only Derry has had a resident ask about the license.
