120 March Thru Salinas, California for Gay Marriage in Last Pride

As she waved a large rainbow-colored flag, Salinas Valley Pride President Lisa Fortes-Schramm led about 120 people in a chant. "What do we want? Equal rights! When do we want Úem? Now!" Several passing cars honked in support as the group marched Sunday in Oldtown Salinas calling for gay-marriage rights. The event also marked the last day for the group after three years in operation. The Salinas group's two remaining board members are moving away and it remains to be seen who will now organize the annual gay rights parade and march. Full Story from The Californian
