Meet in the Middle Organizers Plan March on DC October 10th-11th

Organizers of a Fresno-based same-sex marriage rally will announce an October march on Washington, D.C., CBS 5 has learned. "We are kicking off a national march on Washington…because the person who really has promises he needs to make good on is President Obama," said Robin McGehee, director of the activist group Meet in the Middle for Equality. During a Saturday ceremony at Fresno City Hall, organizers will unfurl a banner that reads, "March on Washington – Full Equality Now!," said Jon Carroll, spokesman for Meet in the Middle for Equality.
